Yacht Hull Insurance from Pantaenius covers you for damage to your own boat.
Extended insurance cover especially for your machinery (up to ten years of age) against all damages resulting from material, construction and even operating errors.
Even incorrect refuelling is covered by Motor Protect Plus. The cover also includes the pumping out and disposal, the cleaning of the fuelling system and the replacement of the fuel.
Land and river transport of your yacht is covered, as are slipway and crane procedures, winter storage and shipyard and repair stays.
If you have grounded your vessel, the necessary inspection costs are covered without excess, irrespective of whether any damage is established.
Insured are trailer and cradle permanently belonging to the vessel.
Necessary accommodation and return journey costs for the Skipper, crew and guests, shall be reimbursed up to a sum of EUR 5,000, if the yacht is uninhabitable during a journey as theresult of an insured Event.
Consequential damages resulting from construction or material defects, as well as wear and tear resulting from normal use, are fully covered in the event of an insured peril. Only the damage to the directly affected part is excluded.
Unlimited costs are covered without deductible in the event of salvage or wreck removal.
If you have sold your boat, please inform us immediately by sending us a purchase agreement or transfer certificate by post or by email. Your policies will then be cancelled and settled upon transfer of ownership.
The policies cannot be transferred directly. In the case of existing yacht hull insurance/yacht liability insurance, temporary insurance cover is provided for the purchaser for one month from the date of transfer of ownership. For hull insurance, the purchase price specified in the purchase agreement applies, however up to a maximum of the previous sum insured (agreed fixed value). The purchaser will also receive an insurance recommendation, so they can take out new policies.
Trailers and bearing blocks that permanently belong to the boat are automatically co-insured under the hull insurance.
Yes. To ensure that you have sufficient insurance cover in the event of the total loss of the boat and trailer, a separate additionally insured sum should be specified for the trailer.
