Pantaenius clients cruising stories
Something that makes our jobs at Pantaenius fulfilling is hearing about all the incredible travel stories our insured’s share with us. Whilst we do get a tad jealous, we’re mostly just excited that we get to help facilitate cruising adventures worldwide!
One lovely couple that recently shared their stories with us are Geoff and Leanne who have been spending their time cruising Europe and enjoying all it has to offer. Get a glimpse into their lifestyle from their summary below.
“We purchased our boat in Southampton, England, cruised it along the English Channel and into the Thames to London where we stayed in the marina at Chelsea for a month. We then cruised her across the Channel to Dunkirk in France. Our initial plans were just to cruise the inland waterways of France, however in Dunkirk we discovered that there were so many more waterways and that we could literally cruise to anywhere in Europe. The first season we ventured into Belgium and found it stunning, then someone told us that the Netherlands were a boating paradise, so the following season we went there and were not disappointed. The following season we did parts of Belgium, The Netherlands, France and then into Germany where we cruised to Berlin. In the offseason we put the boat into “hibernation” in a temperature controlled hall and continue our travels by providing lectures aboard cruise ships. We plan to recommence our travels at the end of April and head back to Germany to pick up our boat “ MV Sunshine Coast.”
