Costs for emergency medical treatment abroad are covered up to 30,000 AUD.

When travelling, the Pantaenius Personal Accident Insurance also covers accidents which occur during the first 48 hours of a trip ashore (provided this is not your country of residence)

In the event of an accident abroad, patient transport costs are covered up to 30,000 AUD.
Emergency Transport and Funeral Costs
For accidents occurring outside the insured’s country of residence, the reasonable costs of up to $ 30,000 AUD for transportation of person who has sustained bodily injury to a hospital or specialist clinic are covered. The cover also extends to the transportation costs associated with the repatriation of a dead body and/or the funeral, burial or cremation costs associated with the death.
