Sold your boat?
You sold your boat and need to cancel your insurance policy with Pantaenius? Send your notification along with the ‘Bill of Sale’ (please include your policy number) to: info@pantaenius.com.au
If you sell your vessel during the insured period, we will cancel the contract and provide you with a pro-rata refund (if eligble).
Need to cancel your insurance policy with Pantaenius?
In order to cancel your insurance policy and for the settlement we need a copy of your bill of sale. A transfer of the existing contract to the buyer is not possible for legal reasons. On the basis of the available data from the bill of sale the buyer receives a free quote for continued insurance.
Of course there should be no gap in the coverage. If the new owner does not object they will be granted provisional cover under the Pantaenius Yacht Hull Insurance Conditions for a period of one month following the date of transfer. The insured sum shall be the purchase price specified in the sales contract subject to a maximum of the previous insured sum (Agreed Fixed Value).
