Important advice

Please read the following important advice before completing a claim notification

  1. The insured party is obliged to report all damages to the insurer without delay. In cases of damages resulting from fire and explosion, theft, burglary, robbery, piracy, misappropriation and fraudulent acquisition, the insured party must also place charges with the local police without delay.
  2. The insured party is obliged to independently undertake any reasonable measures which are considered appropriate to prevent and reduce the extent of damage. If the insurer provides instructions to this effect, the insured party is required to follow such instructions.
  3. The insured party is obliged to submit to the insurer detailed and truthful reports of the damages incurred, and to provide at the request of the insurer any information, which according to the insurer, is deemed necessary in order to determine the extent of the insured damages and the appropriate compensation. At the request of the insurer, the insured party is required to furnish documentation, provided that the procurement of such documentation is reasonable.

Your assistance is required to ensure that your claim is processed smoothly and quickly. Therefore, please proceed as follows:

  • Take initial measures to minimise the damage.
  • In acute emergency situations , we are available 24 hours a day via our emergency hotline +45 96 14 79 13 . Minor damage should be reported within 2-3 days during normal office hours on +45 97 51 33 88 .
  • Report fire and explosion damage, burglary, theft, robbery, vandalism, embezzlement and fraud to the police.
  • Take detailed photos of the damage.
  • Always submit cost estimates or proof of value.
  • Send us a detailed description of the damage.
  • In the event of collision damage, submit an average report signed jointly with the other party.
  • Never assign claims against your insurer to third parties.
  • Collect all invoices and submit them together for settlement.

Our top priority is to provide quick and competent support in the event of a claim. To ensure the smooth processing of your claim, please proceed as follows:

  • Contact the Pantaenius claims department immediately - in an emergency around the clock on +45 96 14 79 13, for minor claims within 2-3 days during normal office hours on +45 97 51 33 88
  • If you are unable to commence your journey, arrival and departure arrangements and, if applicable, the charter cruise should be cancelled immediately in order to keep the cancellation costs as low as possible.
  • Please be sure to collect appropriate evidence about the incident itself and the scope of the Claim.
  • Enclose the charter contract, evidence of the occurrence of the damage (damage photos, police report, certificate) and, if applicable, the cancellation invoice as well as the crew list of the charter company confirmed on site with your damage report.
