Pantaenius Social Media Policy
We use so-called social plug-ins of the facebook.com network operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbor, Dublin 2, Ireland (hereafter referred to as "Facebook"). The plugin, sometimes referred to as "Facebook button", allows a direct link from our pages to the content of Facebook.
Facebook is certified under the so-called Privacy Shield Agreement. Certified companies are accepted in Europe as (non-European) companies complying with European data protection law. (Facebook: https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active).
If you click on the Facebook plugin on our pages, your device establishes a direct connection with the Facebook servers. During this process, data will be transferred from you to Facebook and usage profiles will also be created. We have no control on the amount of data that Facebook collects from this plugin.
By integrating the plugins on our pages, Facebook receives the information that you have accessed one or more pages of our website. If you are logged in parallel to Facebook, Facebook can assign your visit to your Facebook account. For example, if you press the Like button or leave a comment, the information will be sent directly from your device to Facebook and stored there. If you are not a member of Facebook, there is still the possibility that Facebook will find out and save your IP address. According to Facebook, only an anonymous IP address is stored.
The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of your data by Facebook, as well as your rights and options for the protection of your privacy, can be found in Facebook's privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
If you are a Facebook member, but you do not want Facebook to collect information about you through our pages and link it to your Facebook data, log out of Facebook, delete your cookies and then re-visit our website. Other settings and inconsistencies regarding the use of data for promotional purposes are possible within the Facebook profile settings:https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads
Following the above same principle where our website allows for an interaction with Facebook, the same features and content of the service also apply to Twitter. Twitter is offered through Twitter Inc., 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, United States. If you're a member of Twitter, Twitter can associate visits to websites that allow you to interact with Twitter and your profile there. The privacy policy of Twitter can be found here https://twitter.com/en/privacy#update
Like Facebook, Twitter is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and is thus accepted as a company that complies with European data protection law. (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000TORzAAO&status=Active).
YouTube
We use embedded YouTube videos in enhanced privacy mode.
YouTube is a service of Google Inc., Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
YouTube provides this enhanced Privacy Mode, ensuring that YouTube does not store cookies with personally identifiable information on your computer.
When you visit our page that has an embedded video, you will be connected to the YouTube servers, and the content will be displayed on the website by notifying your browser. If you are logged in to YouTube at the same time, this information will be associated with your Membership Account on YouTube. You can prevent this by logging out of your member account before visiting our website.
Once you start playing an embedded video by clicking on it, the enhanced data protection mode on your computer will only save cookies to YouTube that do not contain personally identifiable information. These cookies can be prevented by appropriate browser settings and extensions (Source: YouTube "Enable advanced privacy mode for embedded videos").
