Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter of this competition is Pantaenius UK Ltd, located at Marine Building, 1 Queen Anne Place, Plymouth, PL4 0FB.
2. Eligibility
This competition is open to residents of the UK aged 18 years or over, except employees of Pantaenius UK Ltd, their families, agents, or any third party directly associated with the administration of the competition. By entering this competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3. Entry Period
The competition will open on 3rd September 2024 and close at 11:59 PM on 22nd September 2024. Entries received after this time will not be considered.
4. How to Enter
Participants can enter by:
- Visiting Pantaenius UK Ltd’s stand at the Southampton Boat Show, Stand J174 in Ocean Hall, and completing the entry process on-site.
- Entering online by filling out the entry form on the Pantaenius UK Ltd website.
Only one entry per person is permitted. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
5. Prizes
There is one grand prize and three runner-up prizes.
Grand Prize:
- RYA Powerboat Level II 2-Day Course or Day of Own Boat Tuition with Expert Instructors from Mendez Marine. If the winner is unable to attend the training locally, an RYA voucher for the value of £320.00 will be provided to complete the course at a location convenient for the winner.
- ThrustMe Kicker Outboard with External Battery
- Copenhagen Cobblestone GPS Tracker
Runner-Up Prizes:
- First Runner-Up Prize: Mustang Survival Taku Waterproof Jacket
- Second Runner-Up Prize: Mustang Survival Torrens Hooded Thermal Jacket
- Third Runner-Up Prize: Mustang Survival Watchkeeper Knit Beanie
The prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternative is available.
Size and colour of runner up prizes are subject to availability.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries received by the closing date.
Winners will be notified by email or phone within 7 days of the competition closing date. If a winner does not respond within 7 days of the notification, the promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
Winners' names may be published on Pantaenius UK Ltd’s website and social media channels.
7. Prize Collection
The prize will be delivered to the winner via post or arranged directly with the provider. Details on the prize collection will be provided to the winner upon notification.
8. Data Protection
Personal data provided during the course of this competition will be processed in accordance with Pantaenius UK Ltd’s Privacy Policy.
By entering the competition, participants agree to the use of their data for the purpose of administering the competition and any other purposes to which they have consented.
9. Limitation of Liability
Pantaenius UK Ltd does not accept any responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to technical faults, network, or software failures.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pantaenius UK Ltd will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from this competition or the acceptance of the prize.
10. General
Pantaenius UK Ltd reserves the right to cancel, amend, or temporarily suspend this competition without liability to any entrants or third parties.
The promoter’s decision in all matters relating to the competition is final and binding.
11. Governing Law
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
